Buckets of water 90 percent thawed with 1.5" thick by 6" diameter block of ice floating on top in the buckets. Pond about 2/3 covered with ice 2" thick. Ground still frozen from about 2 1/2" to 4 1/2" depth. Slight very thin crusty frost-like surface (1/16" of frozen wet surface) with a small trace of snow on the ground. Maximum air temperature 7.1 C (44.8 F) @ 12:01 a.m. Minimum air temperature -3.2 C (26.2 F) @ 9.52 a.m. |
