Spitting rain 9:30am, showers 3-3:15pm, rain off and on from 3:30pm til 3:45, then heavy rain with what may have been tiny hail and a single lightning-thunder pair. Rain continuing, fairly heavy, now with multiple claps of thunder, some even nearby, and almost continuous. Heavy rain with wind continues with locally flooded streets (overflowing culverts only) and occasional tiny hail. Sun emerges at 4:20pm while heavy rain continues, with distant thunder heard. Slows to a light rain by 4:25pm, distant thunder still quite loud and persistent. Ends at 4:35pm as storm heads to the east and sun is out. Gauge measures 0.43”! SigWx form submitted :)
