 I was at work (28.6 NE of our home) when a hail storm alert for our home came on my phone at 8:49PM. When I left there 10 minutes later, the sky was lit with intense lightning south and southwest. I encountered some rain as I drove, the heaviest being about 8 miles from home. It had stopped within a mile of home. The storm had already hit here with pine one debris and small branches in yard. Light rain at midnight subsided later.
