Notes
On February 10, the temperature rose into the 50s (high of 53°F) for the first time since January 23, with plenty of sunshine and a light southerly breeze. The evening temperature dipped into the mid-30s -- but has since bounced back to near the 50-degree mark, under partly to mostly cloudy skies. The rock-hard snow/ice pack has thinned with the sudden warmth. A switch to a northwesterly breeze was noted shortly before dawn.
