Notes
|
Yesterday, it snowed; then, warmed up enough to melt icicles. Snow adjacent to cement sidewalks melted a lot of water onto the cement, and then refroze later in the afternoon. Ice formed on the tree limbs, and afternoon wind blew the ice tubes off the limbs, thus, creating shoveled piles of weird 1-inch long tubes of clear ice that hit us and the sidewalks as we shoveled. There was some bouts of freezing rain, as well. This morning, the rain gauge contained a solid disk of ice. Sunny, 23°, and breezy. |
