 Snowboard temperature at the beginning of snowfall was well above freezing, so a significant layer of ice formed on the board before snow began to accumulate. I estimate about 0.2 inches of ice. For that reason the core snowfall SWE is lower than it should be and lower than the catch. Moderately heavy snowfall continued before, during and after the 7:00 am measurements. There was no snow on the ground before this storm event so no snowpack measurement was taken.
