 The day started with S- to S that diminished by 0800 and became mixed then mostly rain until mid afternoon when a surge just before 1500 that dropped the temp from 38.3 to 35 in ~30 min and changed the rain to snow, with S+ from 1600 on, though then it became variable in intensity, S- at times to almost stopped. Breakdown 0700-noon 0.3/0.14; noon-1700 1.0/0.20; 1700-2230 3.3/0.33; 2230-0700 4.5/0.29. S- and 31 with no wind at 0700. Lots of broken branches with some very large limbs down. Heard one breaking while I was out shaking other trees. Road pavement is just wet.
