 We had snow at 4:00 pm. By 5:00 pm it changed to sleet which changed to freezing rain. The freezing rain continued into the night. It is not raining this morning, but everything is frozen hard. I measured what was in the gauge, but I could not penetrate the ice cover to take a core sample. The depth of the snow & ice on horizontal wooden railings is .5".
