 This observation made using a CoCoRahs approved Stratus rain gauge. The measuring tube was completely emptied the previous day in preparation for the next 24 hour reporting period culminating this morning at 0800. When the measuring tube was observed this morning, the measuring tube had slightly over 0.01 inches of presumed precipitation showing in it. Grass and the leaves of bushes in the yard exhibited a level of moisture sufficient to cause a reasonable and prudent person to believe some amount of precipitation had fallen. There was no appreciable amount of condensation present in or on the housing of the gauge itself. Given the totality of the circumstances observed, today's reading is being reported as 0.01 inches of precipitation. Nothing else to report
