The precipitation measured consisted of 0.36 inches of liquid precipitation from the time the rain started about 8:30 a.m. until about 8:00 p.m. when it was switching over to freezing rain. The remaining 0.29 inches consisted of about 0.1 inches of ice from the freezing rain and approximately 2.5 inches of snow. Snow was blowing around a lot drifts ranged from a valley of 1.5 inches to peaks of approximately 9 inches with a "flat area" variance of 2 to 3 inches. I'm going to go with an average of 2.5 inches for the snow/ice portion of the reading.
