 Last night at 7pm I measured 2.3cm of snowfall with a SWE of 3.1mm of water (7.26:1 ratio). This morning around 5:30am we switched from rain to ice pellets, then to snow. At 730am I measured 1.3cm and did a core sample which is giving 3.1mm of SWE (4.2:1 ratio). Based on the feeling of the ground and my camera overnight, a significant chunk of the gauge catch would likely be rainfall.
