 Doppler radar indicated there was a thunderstorm that passed just north of us between 1:35pm and 1:50pm with the southern perimeter just grazing our area. However, when I returned home, the gauge catch was dry. The next event I observed light rain beginning at 5:07pm which transitioned to moderate rain at around 5:20, then to heavy rain at around 5:40pm, then back to light rain at 5:45pm ending at 5:53. Checked gauge catch at 6:10pm indicated 0.12". Light rain began at around 6:40pm ending at 7:10pm. No lightning or hail was observed during any of the events. Brisk north wind this morning. Times are reasonably accurate.
