Notes
First precipitation began at 5:18pm as light rain from a thunderstorm. The primary cell was north of us tracking NE. I did observe a couple of cloud to ground lightning strikes. Light rain increased to moderate wind-driven rain at 5:21 then back to light rain at 5:24. Rain ended at 5:37pm. Checked gauge catch at 6:15 indicated 0.02". Second precipitation event began around 9:40pm as light rain with a brisk easterly wind. Rain increased in intensity at times. Thunder was heard at 10:17pm. Doppler radar indicated it was still raining at 10:50pm but just about to end. Estimate precipitation ended around 11:00pm. No hail was observed from any of the events. Times above are reasonably accurate.
