 Most surfaces are covered with snow (grassy areas, sidewalks, and roofs on houses). This is snow from the storm two nights ago and overnight last night. The snow pack measurement is a good estimate, as wind and slight melting from yesterday has affected the snow depth on various surfaces. Even with continuous sunshine yesterday afternoon and briefly this morning, high temperatures yesterday were only 18° and today only 22°. So, fairly little melting has occurred except on south facing slopes.
