 This unending drought, extremely warm temps, and horrific winds and total lack of winter here is terrifying. Wildfires, 3 in the last 10 days, are happening in February! I cringe to think what all this means for fire this summer!one huge gust of wind yesterday blew down a new trellis I set up last summer. It’s a dust owl, as farmers keep unwittingly plowing their fields bare, despite research that shows its unnecessary and bad for soil health. The loose soils are just headed for Kansas!
