Notes
Another hot day until nearby thunderstorms rolled through to the west in early evening. Yesterday's high/low were 92.1/70.2°F and the current temperature is 73.0°F. Not much wind early, but it increased later in the day to gentle to moderate gusting to fresh breeze. Partly cloudy with cirrus early then cumulus and cirrus for much of the day until early evening when altostratus moved in as the storms moved from northwest to southeast to our west. We were clipped by the edge of the front so we only had sprinkles to light rain for a bit. Some of the clouds were mammatus so I knew the system was weakening by the time it made it to us. Dew on the grass this morning at observation time.
