 Melted accumulation in the tube was partial snow, and some rain that had frozen in the bottom of the tube. There is a thin layer of ice under the snow. Doors on the pole barn are frozen shut. Snow was blown and drifted, but it looks as though the 2 inches of accumulation is fairly accurate despite the drifting.
