0.13 in.
Notes
At least 2 storms: first about 5:08 pm a few hail pellets fell and melted on contact, average maybe 2 per square foot, no rain; second a shower began about 8:15 pm and rained lightly until about 8:45 when hail was added, not too serious and mostly over by 9:00 pm. The first storm formed closer to Colorado Springs and split with the northerly storm passing to our south. The second built up to our west and also split with the centers of the two storms passing on the north and south sides of us. There may have been more rain overnight (earlier this morning) because things were very wet this morning. At any rate, the total in the gauge was 0.13" from the near misses. Sunset last night below the clouds was very red and so was the moon when the clouds moved east, due to the smoke from the fires in Utah.
