 Partly cloudy in the morning. Mostly cloudy late afternoon with dark clouds in the west. Blowing light rain began 1805, then brief heavy rain at 1820. Some sharp lightning and thunder. Read .21" at 1845, very light rain. Main precipitation ended about 1900. Fair to partly cloudy most of the night before fog/mist began. Fog/mist and 75.9° at obs time. Perfect conditions to strike a match to yard burn pile this morning after so much heat and drought. That's why my report is later than usual.
