 Heavy drifting makes accurate snow measurement almost impossible. Ranges from 1 inch in windswept areas to 20 inches at the deepest point in the yard. 11.9 on the snow board but that was in a drifted area. Tried to take an average of several points. Difference between 1.08 melted down in gauge vs 1.89 core sample is also suspect since ground was bare prior to snow and some fell as rain. Gauge is likely under reported due to blowing.
