Quite cold, 13.6F; 94% humidity; dew point, 12.0F; 27% soil moisture; w/a rising barometer @ 29.01" Hg; overcast skies; a gusty, strong fresh breeze, gusting to a strong breeze from the West, which makes it feel as cold as -6.0F at times; and a fine snow blowing in the wind. I registered a gust of 47.0 mph before 10 pm yesterday, and one of 58.6 mph since midnight. I put little stock in the reading off the board due to the strong winds, even though it was slightly sheltered. And, the gauge accumulation may include some rain. The snow cover is, once again, a mixture of drifts and practically bare ground. |
