 Saturday was a mix of clouds, then sun, then clouds and only 71 in the early afternoon. Got dark around 145 pm and quick light rain for a few minutes. Then came out and temps popped up. Overnight low here 54 but at NOAA reading 1/2 mile away it was 48. Looks like last day of heat - low 90s and then all fall temps in the week ahead. Great horned owls very vocal in trees the last two weeks. Have only heard female so maybe mate is gone. Owlets all fledged months ago so unsure what is happening.
