Notes
Overcast skies to start yesterday with graupel falling shortly after observation time yesterday. Snow squalls with heavy snow and high wind gusts from about 8 AM to about 9:30 AM, then snow flurries until about 11:30 AM. Short periods of filtered sunshine occurred after the snow subsided with some periods of snow flurries during the cloudy times. The high temperature yesterday occurred at yesterday's observation time at 39° and steadily declined until this morning's reading of 18° at observation time under clear skies. All measurements were done at observation time. the Gauge Catch was exactly 0.10" and the discrepancy between Gauge Catch and Snowfall SWE was probably due to the high winds during the snow squalls passing.
