 Storm clouds grew quickly and topped out over the mountains and foothills after noon, but dissipated. Some cumulus ventured out onto the plains, but as the day progressed all dissipated except for a few stratocumuli at sunset which also soon evaporated, along with hopes for a monsoon flow. Maybe next week.
