Heavy rain suddenly began to fall at 1:37am on 8/23/2026 but then turned lighter. However, heavy rain resumed shortly after 3am. It alternated between heavy and moderate intervals for about the next hour. Rumbles of thunder accompanied the rain beginning at 3:28am, and a breeze developed as well. Both rain and thunder quickly diminished and ended shortly after 4am. Skies darkened and faint rumbles of thunder became audible at 6:45pm on 8/23/2026. Heavy rain followed at 6:49pm, and a few gusts of wind occurred as well. Rain was still falling at 7pm as the sun emerged from the clouds. Rain fell briskly with the sun shining for about 6 minutes before both quickly ended.
