 Returned home at 2:41pm from running errands and rain had already started. Estimate rain start time as 2:35pm. We had intermittent light rain and sprinkles most of the afternoon. Checked gauge catch at 3:49pm indicated 0.03". Atmosphere appeared to settle late afternoon into evening with clouds flattening out to stratus. A steady light rain developed. Checked gauge catch again at 7:53pm indicated 0.09". Light rain ended around 8:45pm. There was no heavy rain or hail observed. Grass is wet this morning with a light westerly breeze.
