 This core sample was taken about 200 yards south of the rain gauge. It is out in our front pasture in an area away from the drifts near the sagebrush. It is probably representative of the moisture content of the rangelands surrounding the house. The amount of moisture in the core sample is the total of 0.98 and 0.32. I originally reported 1.32, but the real total is 1.30.
