 Convective activity in the afternoon. Doppler radar showed a band of convection heading toward our area during the 4:00pm hour. At around 4:30pm, the band had almost arrived but split into so we got nothing. Another weaker band momentarily came over us but did not observe any precipitation. Hot and smoky almost all day. Checked gauge catch at 9:37pm and it was dry. Cool and brisk this morning with a temperature of 54F and wind chill of 47F.
