 Doppler radar indicated first precipitation was a sprinkle around 3:00pm. Returned home at 4:20pm and checked gauge catch which was dry. Next event was a light rain shower starting around 4:45 and ending around 5:05pm. Checked gauge catch again indicating a trace of moisture. Last event was between 7:00pm and 7:30pm. Gauge catch still indicated a trace. Lots of lightning to the east last night. Thunder heard was weak or distant. Times above are approximate. Grass is damp this morning.
