 Light continuous sprinkles yesterday morning that did not wet the surfaces. At around 12:20pm, precipitation changed to light rain that did wet the ground but lasted until about 1:10pm then went back to sprinkles the remainder of the afternoon. Light rain returned during the evening hours. Checked gauge catch at 7:00pm indicating 0.03". Gauge catch at 10:00pm indicated 0.07" with light rain during both observations. Soil this morning is moist and grass is soaking wet. I did not observe an ending to precipitation yesterday. No thunder was heard.
