Notes
brief heavy rain during Thunderstorm around 4 PM. Storm was not severe, but a wind of up to 30 mph which appeared to be more like a straight line wind driving the rain as the leading edge passed through the area. the Winds and rain broke 2 inch branches, tore shingles off roof of my apartment building, broke down sections of numerous wooden fences, knocked down a 4 x 8 foot sign weighted down with 8 to 10 30 lb. sand bags and numerous other smaller signs in downtown Two Rivers area. Although we received 1.25 inches of rain in a short period of time, most of it soaked in fairly quickly and drained off streets quickly due to lack of leaves on trees which tend to block drains.
