20 Nov: FG/MST 42.4° REL HMDTY 99% AQI 50 DP 42.1° WND CLM 0.0 MPH WND CHL --.-° BRM 30.11 STDY VIS 1.7 MI Sunrise 6:48 Sunset 4:26. 19 Nov: Hi 43.3° (1335) Lo 41.5° (0025) HDD 21 GUST SE 8 MPH (1055). *** Kick-off conditions at Memorial Stadium for the final high school game of the 1964 season (Joliet Catholic @ Joliet Central) were abominable: northwest winds up to 41 MPH, air temperature 19°, snow falling/blowing, visibility of less than two miles on open roads, and a ghastly wind chill of -2°. Marching band cancelled its show after the National Anthem because mouthpieces froze to the lips of all brass players and trombone slides were stuck in first position. Which team won? Nobody cared because all but a handful of fans had left by halftime. NNNN
