Notes
Very gusty winds last night as the snow came down. The snow drifted in certain places. I found some 4 inch drifts, and other places where only 0.5 inch of snow was on the surface. My primary surface that I use for snow measurements is where I took the average of 3 measurements and came up with 1.9 inches of new snowfall. The snow is very light and fluffy in texture and as the wind continues to blow I see the snow beginning to blow off neighbors’ roofs and the trees.
