 Monday was a pretty crazy day. Started with a lot of clouds/smoke that seemed it would keep the temp down, but these cleared out and it was over 100 by 1225. After almost reaching 102by 1250 it dropped back to near 100 for a couple of hours with some clouds around, but then soared to 104.4 at 2150, might be tied for the highest temp I've seen since coming here in 1980. About 20 minutes later the cold front passed and by 1700 it was down to 88. Thunderstorms formed in the area, with thunder off and on from 1730 until ~1930 along with a couple of brief showers. Cloudy this morning with low visibility presumably from smoke and a low of 54.1, so more than a 50 degree spread for the day!
