 4:50pm, outflow winds from developing thunderstorm a couple of miles NW moving east. 5:00pm, windblown sprinkle ended by 5:15pm. Second event had first raindrop at 6:49pm with blowing light rain by 6:53 from what looked like a collapsing convective cloud. The cloud looked like thick white virga with southerly outflow wind. It was quite dramatic to witness. Sun came out just before setting and produced a vivid double rainbow that lasted a good 20 minutes or so. Checked the gauge catch at 7:07 after light rain ended and found a trace of moisture. However, this morning the gauge catch is dry. Felt another brief sprinkle at 7:29pm. Westerly winds this morning accompanied by mountain wave altostratus. Grass feels slightly damp this morning. Air is warm and dry coming off the mountains with a temperature of 68F.
