 Got up early to witness the snow fall beginning. Took an observation which will be closer to a storm total. At 06:20 no snow was on the ground, just flurries in the air. by 06:45 snow was collecting on the ground and deck but not enough to measure. Existing Snowpack at 06:30 consisted of islands in the shaded areas which constituted 30% to 40% of ground cover.
