Little change in conditions over the past week. Short term dryness is no longer evident. Lawns are green and the top layer of soil is somewhat moist. Still seeing some signs of longer term dryness but that seems to have eased as well. Levels on area ponds and lakes are slightly below normal for this time of year but outflow from nearby Ellis Pond has increased to the point where it seems normal for the first time in months. Restrictions in neighboring towns have been lifted, although that may be more indicative of the time of year (less of a need for watering).
