Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: IL-BN-19
Station Name: Belvidere 5.0 NNW
Report Date: 8/1/2020
Submitted: 8/01/2020 8:43 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Surface soil was getting dry enough to stress lawns and crops in the immediate area until a much needed inch+ of rain fell on the 27th, with no runoff occurring. A couple of windy days followed, drying the surface quickly. Deeper soil is moderately moist with crops and lawns looking pretty good. My spring is showing reduced flow so the trend appears to be drying conditions at this time. The local creek is at normal to slightly below normal levels. The local Kishwaukee River is at normal levels while the larger Rock River is slightly elevated due to heavier rains up north in Wisconsin working their way down to this area.
