Rain over this past week totaled only 0.17", soil is very dry and hard.  Grass is getting brown and dry. Animal activity in the surrounding neighborhood continues to be active, with frequent sightings of deer, bear and ground hogs.  Bird activity is high and Honey Bees continue to be doing well.  I have noticed a high variety of different pollinators in my gardens.
