Rain + warmth has brought on an early spring. Pyrocantha and yellow bell bushes are in bloom. Blueberry bushes are heavy with buds that will likely bloom too early; if a cold snap comes there will be few berries.
Daffodils and Lenten roses are in full bloom.
Bluets and Dandelions (aka weeds) are also in bloom. We have a healthy crop of wild onions and moss on the north side of the house.
Since we have had more spring than winter, our power bills have been lower. No complaining here.
Hostas are are poking their heads out looking for an all clear to keep growing.
