This location has a water year total of 20.41" of rainfall to date, while the average is 14.98 (Prism data) for total annual.  Water Balance for this location is + 1.73" since October 1 2018.  Eleven days in May have had measurable rain at this location. This must be an anomaly.  The result of course is that the landscape is green and snails are marching in mass, mostly heading westerly direction.  Two swarms of honey bees were observed leaving the main hive for sweeter pastures in the last week.  The last swarm got caught by the rain and is hanging out in an avocado tree doing their best to stay dry.
