Description:
This past week had above and below normal temps. Weekly Precip total was 1.90"...2019 Precip totals are higher than last years record precip at this time in May. There are few sunny days. Perennials are either not coming up or don't look too good. Fungi are in mulch and parts of lawns. Mold counts are high affecting my Asthma. A break in the Rain this weekend allowed outdoor activities. My lawn has some patches of Red Thread....
Surface soils are damp...

Soil Temps rose from surface down to 8 inch depths but fell slightly at all other depths...Soil Moisture fell slightly at 6 inch depth and rose at all other measured depths.


**High Centibar Readings mean drier soil...ie; 0 = Saturated Soil..120 or above = Severe Drought

Surface Soil Temp: 60F...Grass Temp: 58.2F...

 6 in. Depth: Soil Temp: 64F...Soil Moisture:  10 Centibars..
24 in. Depth: Soil Temp: 61F...Soil Moisture:  06 Centibars.. 
36 in. Depth: Soil Temp: 56F...Soil Moisture:  16 Centibars.. 

Area farms were spraying this past week.

Birds were active at the feeders. 2 Bog Turtles were seen. The pair of Bald Eagles were not seen. All the Bluebird boxes have resident Bluebirds. Turkey Vultures have taken to perching on my roof and the farmhouse across the road...

Creek Status:  Water is clear.. Water Level & Flow are normal.

Heat was needed last Sunday night thru Tuesday morning with lows in the low to mid 40's and highs barely reach 50F during that time period.
