With only 0.15" of precip over the week along with some warm temps and mostly sunny skies the surface soil dried out quite a bit, resulting in near normal soil conditions. Waterways have dropped down to just above their normal levels. Trees are definitely beginning to show some color but will probably not peak for another week or so. Wildlife was unchanged with some finches and chickadees at the feeder. While coming back from the local apple orchard we did spot a bald eagle perched at the top of a large and dead tree that remained there long enough for everyone to see. Always a sight to see and majestic as ever.
