Once more, barely any rain for a week. After decent rain the week before, grass and roadside vegetation looks fresher, helped by cooler mornings; but daytime highs are drying us out and starting to raise fire danger again. Still, this is good for fall garden preparation and early planting, so at that level, things are looking up. The heaviest rains last week were west of us, and did raise lake levels a bit, so water supply is not an immediate worry.
