Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: RI-PR-135
Station Name: Pascoag 0.5 SSW
Report Date: 10/10/2026
Submitted: 10/10/2026 7:15 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Wet
Description:
Even with only a trace of rain this week, conditions remain mildly wet. The Pascoag Reservoir is still at 9’0” and just at the top of the spillway which is high for this time of year. Trails at Sprague Farm and Douglas Forest also have some moist areas that normally would be dry this time of year. The trees are quickly turning to yellows, oranges and reds and more or less on schedule. The lawn is still growing quickly and needs mowing weekly. There is less activity on the lake but a few boaters and fishermen are still getting out regularly. Next weekend the dam will be opened to drain the Pascoag Reservoir for the winter so these are the last few days to enjoy getting out with the boat. The George Washington state campground is posting Low for fire danger.
