For week of 04 to 10 Oct: (0+ 2.0+ 2.2+ 0+ 0+ 0+ 0+ 0.5)= 4.7mm. Near Normal. High's: +15C to +20C; Low's: +13C to +4C; Wind: Mostly calm, 1 windy day, gusts to SV 49km/hr; Dew: 1 heavy, 2 light. This past week was beautiful Fall weather. A lot of clear blue sky, sunshine and calm. The trees are in full canopy and full colour. It truly is inspiring. Grass is very green and thick, but vertical growth has slowed. Some shrubs still have late blooms. I actually saw a small butterfly yesterday. Deer are taking full advantage of the healthy grass. A pair of Blue Jays have been gracing our trees. The fair weather has kept NS Power's overhead work on-going. Along with the double-decker buses. The Turning of the Colours, along with prepping for this Thanksgiving long weekend, is all superb timing. Nova Scotia at its finest. (We do have a Yellow Frost Advisory for Sun AM). We and all of Canada are blessed with Nature's beauty. Happy Thanksgiving.
