Normal temperatures and very wet week.

Temperatures averaged 61.0 degrees, +0.1 above normal for the period.  

Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 56.9 degrees, 4” average is 58.9 degrees, 8” average is 60.9. degrees and 20” average is 63.0 degrees. -0.6 overall decrease, on average, from the previous period. 

 Mixed week. Wet and cloudy to start then sunny and dry for the end of past week.
Soil moisture is running wet at 4”, while 8” depth is normal.

Lawns are green with weekly mowing frequency. Tree color change is about 40 to 50% color and losing leaves. Colors are reds and yellows. Summer hibiscus continue blooming and are at the end of their season. 

Bird activity now is sparrows, doves, and cardinals. Have seen a return of the hawks in the area. Squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits are out and feeding on grass and seed overspill from bird feeder, while squirrels are starting to bury food for the winter.
