Yet again, in some ways it's mildly dry, but overall it seems normal. I've recorded 0.65" of rain since September 28. The ground seems typically moist for the season. Vegetation is dying back, but then it always does this time of year. Local rivers appear to be at normal levels. I have not been out on trails to assess muddiness, but I suspect areas that are typically moist are dry as they were a week ago..
