Rapid drying of soil after four days without precipitation. Soft spots only in depressions and ruts. Overall quick recovery to normal seasonal dryness. Area conditions may provide possibly brief window for safe controlled burns on public lands. Stunning 'crop' of mushrooms and fungi this Fall, after recent prolonged rains - a hazard for curious pets.
Air quality not that great with unidentified allergens or irritants.
