Predictions of 1-3 inches for our last rain event eaked out 1.18 inches overall.  Better than nothing, but ditches still
dry and garden soil where no watering was provided still dry a little ways down.  Resurrection fern has leafed out.  1 remaining monarch chrysalis has turned clear, but no hatch out yet. Tobacco fields have been mowed down
